Sounds like a nightmare? For us, it was the beginning of something special.
“I still remember that day clearly,” laughs Mo, founder of Spotless — now one of the most trusted home cleaning services in Düsseldorf.
“My friend and I decided to deep-clean our student kitchen. By the time we finished, the countertop had literally changed color — from a dull yellow to bright white. The whole place was glowing! In that moment, we both felt something click. It made us genuinely happy.”
That feeling didn’t fade.
We realized this wasn’t just about cleaning — it was about creating change and seeing results that truly made a difference.
So we decided to take it seriously and turn it into something professional.
From that day on, we worked day and night to bring Spotless to life.
I focused on the technical side — building the website, managing the design, and setting up everything behind the scenes —
while my partner and friend took charge of the business side: planning, research, and accounting.
Together, we built Spotless from scratch — one long night, one cleaned surface, and one new idea at a time.

What started as a one-time favor quickly turned into a passion.

After two intense years, we had to pause Spotless for a while.
“We were exhausted and couldn’t find people who shared our high standards,” Mo recalls.
But the passion never disappeared.
